Eugene V BOUGHTON (Sr) was born 21 Dec 1875 in Saginaw Co MI to William H & Julia E BOUGHTON. He registered in the WW1 draft in June 1918 at Cd'A at age 42. He was a lawyer in the firm Reed & Boughton, and lived at 715 A St, Cd'A. He died in May 1964. In 1912, Reed & Boughton argued and won a case in the US Supreme Court requiring water companies under community charter to make hookups without charge, (saving their Cd'A client $8.50).

Eda SAYLES, b Mar 1878 in Evart, Osceola Co MI, to Joseph & Henrietta (MOYE) SAYLES. Her father, probate judge Joseph SAYLES, is a son of George Rogers SAYLES, b 14 May 1808 in NY, and (#2 wife) Ann GARDNER, b 12 Nov 1821 Canada. George R is a son of Ahab(7) SAYLES, b 1775 NY, (descended from Ezekiel(6), Stephen(5), Thomas, John, John, John(1) b 1602 Sudbury SFK England).
